im running my shack ...

im running my shack with a single 50 watt panel without a controller using only a diode direct to 60ah classic water based lead acid battery, but using regular 6 or 7 pieces of 12volt SMD leds..with a dc motor controller to control the current flow..current configuration about 350ma per hour..without the dc motor controller it used to be 650ma per hour..i use it 12 hours a day, with a timer attached to it

Ok, I guess I want ...

Ok, I guess I want to be as smart as this guy

nice shack with ...

nice shack with full AC amenities!! I took particular interest in that 1972 electric contraption you showed..i cant wait to see that car get some contemporary laserhacker high tech modifications and see it run with wireless radiant energy self charge, just like what they say Tesla did to his 1936 Pierce Arrow!! Good luck!!

Awesome Flux ...

Awesome Flux Capacitor there :) Is there a way to mask the sound with insulation or does it have to remain in the open?

You are the shit. ...

You are the shit. Just had to say that. That car is the future I was promised as a kid. I'm a 1976er too.

I don't doubt that ...

I don't doubt that will work up to a point as it gives flux for the field collapse to kick off of, but refining the toroid coil would be best. once you hit the wall there, then add the magnets.

LOOK OUT FOR THAT ...

LOOK OUT FOR THAT SPIDER

Got 1 solar kit, ...

Got 1 solar kit, adding another same purpose utility room. Work shop. Peace

i think the joule ...

i think the joule ringer is probably more efficient than an inverter, but, why use either?? you are running l.e.d. lamps, run them on 6-10volts that way, you have no losses through the ringer or the totally inefficient inverter, i could understand why you'd do this if you were trying to power fluorescent lamps,

Good stuff! Keep it ...

Good stuff! Keep it up!

Hi Laser thanks for ...

Hi Laser thanks for the schematic are there any transistor equivalent that we can use?? How about a series Fluorescent lamps passing thru the filaments and jumper on the middle???

Thank you Sir!

Thank you Sir!

Nohing special with ...

Nohing special with sound here, it is typical for Jule Thiff!

what wattage are ...

what wattage are the solar panels, what voltage and amperage is the controller and what does the joule thief actually do in this circuit, allow more amps to be extracted when its cloudy for example?

THanks!!! and great ...

THanks!!! and great work as always!!!!

hi its theonagain ...

hi its theonagain hey mate what is your coil all about . I like to say love your lab seems to me im not the only one who is gone mad and looking for the ultimate power system . any links on this technology especially with all those batteries ive got

Whats the ...

Whats the difference between a Joule Ringer and a Joule Thief? Anything? :o

Hi- I'm sorry, I'm ...

Hi- I'm sorry, I'm an electrical engineer (NASA) and I am very familiar with what you are showing. The bulbs are not lit to full brightness... they will fluoresce with very low current at high voltage. You have to compare the total lumens output of light with the battery voltage times the current draw (total watts)...VS. one bulb running on the inverter..it's lumens at full brightness- and it's total watts draw. You'll see it actually looses a little power..sorry!

you can try to ...

you can try to duplicate the solid state generator that suppose to bring you infinite power for life without any moving parts or losing power. would be nice to keep power constant in a electric car so u can keep going and going and going like the energizer bunny

the wire coming ...

the wire coming from the resistor and transistor are they separated from the 20 winds and 750 winds or is it wound withe the 20 winds not very clear on your diagram this is amazing ill have to try this out

Awesome to see the ...

Awesome to see the joule ringer come into practical use! But put a grounded metal box around that beasty before you get in strife from the FCC for making too much RF noise.

a dark mad science ...

a dark mad science lab. lol

You really are a ...

You really are a fascinating person, I live in the UK and want to fit a solar system. Good job I like electronics as i will try your circuits! Here in the UK solar panels are amazingly expensive. My aim is to run all the house lights from batteries, then maybe a PC and TV or radio etc. It's the way to go now.

Is the primary on ...

Is the primary on that coil bi-filar wound?

Outstanding job!!! ...

Outstanding job!!! Congratulations. One question though. What is that whistling sound? Was that some sort of feedback with the video recorder you were using or is it like that all the time? I would imagine it would be annoying to hear that whistling sound all the time and it would be great if it could be filtered out somehow.. Finally, to clarify, you are using no on-the-grid power in there to power the sanders and other equipment. Is that correct? Everything is truly off the grid?
