Power Glass Developer, XsunX, Adds Key Executive Management







IRVINE, Calif., April 17, 2006 - XsunX, Inc. (OTCBB: XSNX), developers of Power Glass(tm),
an innovative thin-film solar technology that is intended to allow glass windows to
produce electricity from the power of the sun, today announced
the appointment of Joseph Grimes to the position of chief
operating officer. In his new position reporting to CEO Tom
Djokovich, Grimes will focus on developing and managing
the necessary programs and infrastructure to prepare for
the Company's growth and business development efforts.

Grimes, who brings to XsunX more than eight years direct
experience in thin-film technology and manufacturing,
was most recently vice president, defense solutions,
for Envisage Technology Company where he directed
and managed the defense group business development
process, acquisition strategies and vision for
next generation applications. Previously he was
co-founder, president and CEO of ISERA Group
and established the company infrastructure and
guided five development teams, finally selling
the company to Envisage. His direct experience
in thin-film technology came with Applied
Magnetics Corporation as manager for thin-film
prototype assembly. Grimes holds a Bachelor's
degree in business economics and environmental
studies, and a Masters in computer modeling
and operation research applications, both
from the University of California at
Santa Barbara.

On September 15, 2005 the Electronics Technicians
Association (ETA) certified Ampenol Fiber Systems
International (AFSI) to offer the M28876 training.
The approval of the program has qualified AFSI as an
ETA Approved training provider for the Fiber Optics
Installer (FOI) and the Fiber Optics Technician
(FOT) certifications.


Fiber Optic Installers (FIO) are expected to obtain
knowledge of basic concepts of fiber optics installation
and service which are applicable to all the functions
required to safely and competently install fiber optics
communications cabling.


Fiber Optic Technicians (FOT) are expected to obtain
knowledge of fiber optics concepts that will allow them
to be involved with designing, configuring, installing,
and maintaining fiber optic systems.


Since 1978, ETA has certified thousands of electronics
technicians worldwide. ETA certified technicians excel in
areas of electronics equipment service and support. An
electronics technician who successfully passes an ETA
certification exam is professionally recognized as having
the necessary knowledge and technical skills to meet
international de facto electronics service industry
standards.
