RenewableEnergyStocks.com – US Legislation Boosting Incentive for Energy Efficient Product Lines

VRB Power Systems Inc., SmartCool Systems Inc., Siemens
AG and Power Integrations Inc. Comment on the Changing Marketplace

POINT ROBERTS, Wash., March 06, 2006 –
www.RenewableEnergyStocks.com (RES), an investor and
industry news portal for the renewable energy sector,
is pleased to present, ‘US Legislation Boosting Incentive
for Energy Efficient Product Lines’. Legislation aiming
to change the pattern of energy consumption in the US
could have wider implications for the economy on the
whole. Supportive legislative measures, such as the
Energy Policy Act of 2005, bode well for companies
who are bringing new energy saving products to market.

Eyeing the trend in legislation as an opportunity for
VRB Power Systems Inc. (TSX.V:VRB.V), Mark T. Kuntz,
Vice President of Marketing & Business Development
explains, “the presence of these provisions in the
bill brings energy efficiency and conservation to
the mind of decision makers, particularly financial
decision makers, and allows technology developers
like VRB an entré into their process.”

SmartCool Systems Inc. (TSX.V:SSC; OTC.PK: SSCFF),
Company president, George Burnes adds, “With funding
available, companies will be able to manage capital
spending differently and focus on energy efficiency
and cost reductions that will benefit the bottom line.”

Jil Shingledecker, Project Manager of Press Relations
for Siemens Power Generation, Siemens AG (NYSE:SI),
comments with respect to the renewables market that,
“because of the tax credits, it’s going to continue
to be driven. It’s difficult, however, for us to
say how quickly it’s going to grow. There is a
definite market for renewables, as far as we’re
concerned and having a diverse portfolio is the best route.”

According to Joe Shiffler, Director of Investor Relations
and Corporate Communications for Power Integrations,
Inc. (NASDAQ: POWI), “Over the next year, mandatory
efficiency standards are scheduled to take effect
in California, Washington, Oregon, New York and
Rhode Island, as well as Australia, on external
power supplies such as cell phone chargers and
other AC adapters. The old copper-and-iron transformers,
sometimes called “energy vampires,” will typically
not meet the standards, whereas power supplies
designed with our EcoSmart chips can easily meet
the standards.”

Alchemy Enterprises Acquires Electric Power Cell Technology and Enters Into the $13 Billion Alternative Energy Industry

PHOENIX, March 6, 2006 - Alchemy Enterprises, Ltd. (OTCBB: ACHM)
announced today that it has acquired and owns intellectual property
on a new electric battery technology for generating and managing
power, electricity and propulsion systems, known as Electric
Power Cell Technology ("EPCT").

Working in a research and development partnership with NASA's
Jet Propulsion Laboratories and utilizing this technology as a
new power source, the Company believes that the technology may
be developed to provide electrical energy for many different
applications.

Jonathan R. Read, President and CEO of Alchemy Enterprises stated,
"We have acquired what we believe to be a paradigm shifting
technology for the alternative energy industry. Economic,
ecologic, and geopolitical realities dictate our need to move
away from petroleum as a primary energy source. Our EPCT is
believed to provide an economical, safe, clean, renewable,
and practical solution to these needs. Alchemy is now,
along with NASA/JPL, fully developing the technology and
commencing negotiations for immediate application in
the transportation and energy storage industries."

Mr. Read continued, "The market applications for this product
are significant, and include powering motor vehicles and
homes. The U.S. Government is aggressively promoting new
alternative energy technology growth. Alchemy Enterprises
believes it has a technology that it will improve upon
existing gasoline powered systems and is positioning
itself to become a leader in this multi-billion dollar
industry. This leadership role equates to phenomenal
growth and earnings potential for the Company."

This proprietary electric power cell works by pumping an
electrolytic liquid, consisting of common base earth metal
and salt water, into the power cell, where catalyzed by
air it dynamically exchanges electrons generating
electricity. The electricity is then used to power
an engine or other propulsion device. When the
electrolytic liquid is spent, it only takes minutes
to pump the liquid out of the power cell into a
storage tank. In the storage tank, the liquid is
electrically charged and revitalized within hours,
ready to be pumped back into another electric power
cell for re-use. This process makes the electric
power cell a clean, environmentally friendly,
re-usable source for electric power and fuel.

About Alchemy Enterprises, Ltd.

Alchemy Enterprises, Ltd. is an alternative energy company
that is developing a new electric power cell technology
that it believes will generate and manage electricity
to power a broad range of applications, from every day
vehicles such as buses, trucks, trains and cars to
alternative power supply stations to power homes.
Working in a research and develop partnership with
NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratories, the patent-pending
electric power cell technology is believed to be a
clean, environmentally friendly, re-usable source
for electric power and fuel.

RenewableEnergyStocks.com "Global Renewable Energy Insights": China’s IPO Momentum and Drive for Alternative and Clean Energy

Successful IPO’s such as Suntech Power Holdings Ltd and SunPower Corp, suggest an increased investor interest in renewable energy industry

POINT ROBERTS, Wash., February 28th, 2006 –
www.RenewableEnergyStocks.com (RES), an investor and
industry news portal for the renewable energy sector,
reviews the Chinese IPO market and the growth of the
region’s alternative energy demands in “Global Renewable
Energy Insights,” a weekly column by InvestorIdea’s
Catherine Lacoursière, who has covered the energy and
environment markets for Investor’s Business Daily,
Energy Risk magazine, and writes blogs for the CleanTech
Venture Network.

The success of Suntech Power Holdings Ltd and SunPower Corp’s
IPO’s, suggests an increased investor interest in the
renewable energy industry and bodes well for future Chinese
public offerings in this sector. According to Julie Blunden,
Vice President of External Affairs for SunPower Corp.
(NASDAQ: SPWR),”The drivers in China are a combination
of how fast the demand is growing and their limited
conventional energy resources. The demand is going up,
and limited domestic supply cannot keep up with the
demand, which is clearly the key driver of the move
to renewable energy in China and around the world.”

As Michael Liebreich, Co-Founder and CEO of New Energy Finance,
a London based informational clean-energy index explains,
“The drivers for the acceptance by China of renewable energy
technology are twofold; they have an almost insatiable
requirement for energy and therefore they will need not only
fossil fuels but also renewable and clean energy in order
to avoid a bottleneck to their economic development. The
other side to it is that China sees renewable energy as
a growth industry with considerable potential, one that
they want to have a very strong position in.”

As a growing world economy competes for the same oil and gas
reserves, the benefits of investing in clean and self
sustaining energy supplies has become evident to China.
Tom Djokovich, CEO of XsunX, Inc. (OTCBB: XSNX) explains,
"Investments in renewable technologies allows the Chinese
to hedge energy costs and reduce dependency on fossil fuels
in a competitive marketplace, while leveraging the growth
potential of solar in the world marketplace. For XsunX,
China's mandates to increase the use of BIPV technologies
as part of an effort to make all buildings "Green"
represents a tremendous opportunity for our Power
Glass(R) film technology in one of the largest and
fastest growing commercial construction marketplaces."

In addition, Wieland Koonstra, CEO of GiraSolar, Legend
Investment Holding’s (OTC.PK: LVCP) solar division describes,
“The main driver for solar growth in China in my opinion is
not only environmental or energy concerns; but also their
well strategized market entrée now that the market is
ripe.” GiraSolar is a beneficiary of China’s activity
in renewable energy as a recipient of Chinese exports
in this area.

Column Excerpt: Clean Energy: Peering Down China’s IPO Pipeline

By Catherine Lacoursiere
February, 2006

The Chinese IPO boom appears to be building on strong
momentum. Reuters reports that 42 percent of Chinese
companies are planning stock issues and over 50 have
received approval and plan to go public in 2006. This
is good news for clean energy. While investors have
devoured shares of Chinese solar gear maker Suntech
Power Holdings, clean technology IPOs out of China
have been sparse.

It is easy to see the attraction to China cleantech.
Domestically, renewable energy consumption is growing
in excess of 25 percent. Globally, companies like
Suntech Power, which exports 90 percent of its
production, are enjoying an export boom. Chinese
exports are growing at close to 30 percent a year.
